The brands and products we sell in our webshop are carefully selected. In this blog we explain which brands you will find in our shop and why.

Our selection criteria

The criteria for selecting products and brands in our webshop are:

1. Quality. Products must be of high quality. This means, for example, that the cover of a notebook is sturdy and the paper beautiful. The appearance of a product must also be good.
2. Sustainable. This is complex, because sustainability includes various aspects. Think of the travel distance of the product, the use of recycled material or the reusability of the product itself. High-quality products last longer and are therefore more sustainable. In our webshop you will find many refillable notebooks , a sustainable choice.
3. Minimalist/neutral look. Although everyone who knows me (Tamara) knows that I love color, we often offer products with a neutral color or look. We also do this consciously to ensure that the total range looks good. We supplement this neutral base with colored items, such as our phone cases .

The brands of The Perfect Desk

You will find these brands in our stationery webshop:

1. Tinne+Mia. Tinne+Mia products are minimalistic and timeless, imbued with a French joie de vivre - classic with a wink - and a cool Scandinavian twist. They stand out because of their love for craftsmanship, eye for detail and the palette of powder shades combined with bold and contemporary colours. All notebooks and planners are made with FSC-certified paper, sourced from responsibly managed forests that protect biodiversity and respect the rights of local communities. By working with certified printers, who are subject to strict annual audits and procedures before they are allowed to use the FSC logo on printed matter, they contribute to the preservation of our beautiful planet.
2. Monk & Anna. Monk & Anna offers small collections of beautiful things, designed with great care and with many small details. It was founded in 2016 by three creatives who had the desire to make the products they love. Together they create minimalistic products in soft earth tones and with different textures. Inspired by Japan, nature, fashion and craftsmanship in general.
3. Kaweco. Almost all pens in our webshop are from the brand Kaweco. Their passion for the smallest details makes the huge difference between their writing instruments and cheap, mass-produced products. Kaweco's production process and quality control takes place in Nuremberg. Local tradition and technology from far away come together in each of the Kaweco pens: such as the premium mechanics from Japan.
4. House Doctor. The products of this Danish brand are qualitative and designed in a minimalistic design. The products are made for a timeless interior, and you can also call that sustainable.
5. The Perfect Desk. Every now and then we buy a collection of unbranded products. Think of the BudgetBasics collection. We offer a collection of office essentials for a small price.
